Randy Matthews, Matthews Funeral Home

At Matthews Funeral Home, the trust you place in us is of the utmost importance and we regard this trust with great respect.

Matthews Funeral Home opened in the spring of 2000. We started our business after it became apparent that Edmond, Oklahoma needed to have a locally owned and operated funeral home.  A funeral home with interests rooted in our community. We are the only locally owned and operated funeral home in Edmond and you will find and a deeper, more personal commitment to you and your family in a locally owned funeral home.

The only goal at Matthews Funeral Home is to serve each family with the utmost care. That starts from the very first phone call you make to us. We personally handle everything. When selecting a funeral home, you should at all times feel comfortable and also have a deep feeling that the funeral home cares about your family. You will find this in Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

If you have any questions about anything after reviewing the information on our website, please call us. We will answer your questions and give you options and directions without any obligation or pressure.    ~Sincerely, Randy Matthews

The Matthews Funeral Home Difference

Our staff has more experience serving the families of Edmond than any other funeral home staff. We are dedicated to the community and it is evident by our community involvement.

We volunteer and are members of a variety of charitable, community and civic groups. We believe that we have an obligation, not only financially, but personally, to give back to our community.

The University of Central Oklahoma plays a vital role in the development of employees at Matthews Funeral Home. Many of our funeral directors are graduates of UCO.

Our staff is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We don’t use an answering service. When you call Matthews Funeral Home you will be talking to a staff member.

We believe that when a family calls upon us, we will personally respond to your call. We are the only funeral home in Edmond that does our own embalming. Other funeral homes choose to use an outside embalming service.
