Zachary Michael Foster, 38, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 25, 2024. He was a Godly man, an amazing father and husband, a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend.

Zachary was born on March 2, 1986 in Oklahoma City, OK to Nancy Lemonik and Monty Foster. Zach grew up in Oklahoma City and moved to Edmond when he was in middle school. Zach graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2004. He graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business and worked in construction. Zach became a Christian on December 23rd, 2019, and his relationship with Jesus Christ became the central focus and passion of his life. He married the love of his life, Hannah, on September 16, 2022. They welcomed their precious daughter, Grace Elizabeth Foster, on November 5, 2023. Zach was a loving, intentional, and devoted father and husband.

Zach lived his life to the fullest and his joy in his relationship with the Lord was inspirational. He was a generous and intentional person who would drop anything to help out a friend, family member, or a complete stranger. He taught children in the AWANA program and Sunday school, helped lead in an adult Sunday School class, attended men’s Bible Study, faithfully served widows, was mentored and mentored others. The overarching characteristic of Zach’s life was his authentic and genuine care for those he came in contact with throughout his day.

Zach is survived by his wife Hannah and his daughter Grace; his mother Nancy Lemonik and step-father Norman Lemonik; his father Monty Foster and step-mother Dee Raymond-Foster; his brother Jake Foster and niece Rowan Foster; his step-sister Marnie Lemonik; his father and mother-in law, Gary and Laura Liles; sister and brother-in-laws Campbell and Emily Liles, Jonathan and Abbey Liles, Emily Liles and Garrett McGregor, and Tate and Faith Martin; niece Caroline Liles and nephew Henry Liles; and grandmother-in-law, Janet Kem. Zach was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Irene Pehr and Bill and Donna Foster.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK, with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and guests. Services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Bible Church, 600 N Coltrane Rd, Edmond, OK 73034.

    No words can replace a wonderful husband Hanna but elders always say your awsome husband and father had a another job that God needed him in his kingdom. Peace on you and Grace in this hard time in your heart and life my condolences to you and your family

    Hannah, I only heard the news of Zach’s passing tonight when I read your mom’s post. I am so sorry. Our prayers are with you and Grace. May you be comforted knowing that Zach is with Jesus and that our loving Father has you both in His arms.
