William E. Kiespert, 88 of Edmond, Oklahoma was born Febrary 15, 1928 in Oklahoma City, to William and Clara Kiespert. William graduated from Central State College with a Master’s degree in Library Science. He married Euellene Barnes on Jan. 16, 1953 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bill and Euellene worked together at the Co-operative Publishing co. in Guthrie, then he went to work at the FAA where he served for 30 years and retired from there in the Graphic Arts Department.
Bill was an amateur Radio Operator, an avid gardener and member of the NARFE.
Bill is survived by his wife Euellene of the home, Son and daughter in law, Brad and Barbara Kiespert of Edmond, Daughter in law, Sarah Kiespert of Edmond, Grandsons, Jeffrey Kiespert and Jason Kiespert and wife Jera and Brian Kiespert and wife Christy and great granddaughter, Anna Kiespert and Great Grandson William Kiespert. Also surviving are his sisters, Betty Young and Barbara Kennedy and husband Stephen and many nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his Son, Billy Kiespert, Mother and father in law, Euell and Letha Barnes . Bill passed away on March 2, 2016 in Oklahoma City. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Monday March 7, 2016 at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.
