Bill was married to my niece, Maureen and they were a loving, dear couple.
I first met Bill when, on a spring break, (I think 1979), he drove his family, (wife and two daughters), from Colorado to my home in New York for a visit. We capped their short stay by seeing a matinee of the musical “Annie” in NYC on Saturday. Bill started the drive back home early Sunday morning. The family were ready for work and school Monday a.m.. This trip demonstrated to me how capable and sincere Bill was to care for and please his family.
Bill was a quiet, gentle, man who loved and cared deeply.
