Wilford passed away surrounded by family on September 20, 2018. Born November 26, 1926 to Bryan and Daisy Moberly, at home in Canadian County. After graduation from Calumet High School, he served his  country in the Army for 2 years. After returning he married Margaret McCray on February 7 1947, which lasted 71 years.

Living in Edmond, OK most of those years. After holding several jobs he retired from the Post Office and then continued to work as a school bus driver. An avid camper and traveler, Wilford and Margaret visited all 50 states after retirement.

Wilford was proceeded in death by His Parents Bryan and Daisy Moberly, brother Leon Moberly, In laws Ted and Evelyn McCray and great grandson Mason Campney. Survivors include Margaret of the home, 3 daughters: Alta (Herb) Garrett, Rita (Ernie) Bingham and Annita (Pat) Leehan. 7 Grand Children and 16 Great Grand Children.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 27th, at Matthews Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Oklahoma Regional Food  Bank (www.regionalfoodbank.org).

  4. Paul Stroud writes: Wilford was one of the close cousins. He and Margaret visited my parents regularly and attended our Stroud Family Reunions. I think it was Labor Day that they always spent with my parents when we were in Africa. Wilford will be missed. Our prayers are with Margaret and the family.
