Wanda Manning, known to most as “Grandma” passed away on February 3, 2018, at the age of 86 years.

Wanda was married to Leaun “Bud” Manning at the age of 27. They were married for 59 years until Bud passed away two years ago. As a young woman Wanda worked for South Western Bell for 30 years until retiring at the age of 50.

Wanda’s parents James and Florence Cowell passed away when she was young. She had four brothers and four sisters who are now all deceased as well.

She is survived by her son-in-law Steve, her grandchildren Amy, Michael and Scotty, her nieces Shirley and Elaine, her great-grandchildren Ryan, Elizabeth, Jacob, Rachel, Leaun, Christopher, Ezekiah, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday February 8, at Matthew’s Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Ave, Edmond OK, 73003, with visitation on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m.

    wanda was a very sweet
    lady I got to know at church. She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor She spoke proudly of he family and her life . I will miss her.
