Victor Norman O’Hagan


Vic passed away peacefully January 21, 2023 surrounded by family.  He was 79 years old.  Vic was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on August 22, 1943 to Orville and Nadine O’Hagan.  He married Patricia Clark in 1963 and moved to Nicoma Park in 1968 with his young family, where he remained his entire life.

Vic started his adult life as a sheet rocker, eventually owning a drywall company, after which he became a homebuilder in the 1970’s, meeting many new friends along the way, more than anyone could count.  Vic’s favorite pastime was repairing and modifying cars, trucks, tractors, and any other machine that caught his interest.  He also enjoyed tilling and working vegetable gardens for himself and friends.  Driving fast race cars was a passion that stayed with him from his teen years and throughout his life.

Vic was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Nadine O’Hagan, his sister Mary, his brothers Orville and Patrick O’Hagan and brother Leroy Edwards.

Vic is survived by Patricia, his wife of 59 years,  Vickie and husband Clyde Manning, Doyle and wife Jennifer O’Hagan, Vera and husband Michael Cook, and Vic’s brothers John and Mike O’Hagan.  He had many grandchildren; Jeremy Cook, Shelby Kitze, Seth O’Hagan, Brayden Reed,  Courtney Nickell, Levi Cook, Sara O’Hagan, Sage O’Hagan, and Guinnevere O’Hagan.  He had great-grandchildren; Mayzlee Kitze, Briggs Kitze and Cooper Nickell.  He also had many loving nieces and nephews.

He is treasured and loved by all.

Visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 25th at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel Edmond, OK with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
