Having known Victor, I truly believe it is well with his soul. Hope Tammy, Madison, Brooke & Paige can take comfort in knowing how prepared he was to be called home so soon.
Tammy and family, I was so sorry to hear of Vic’s passing. Such a shock to all. Please know we have you all in our prayers during this difficult time.
I have known Vic since 1985 and although you may not remember me I was at ymour beautiful wedding. I got to know Vic through his relationship with Chris Corish and spent many fun moments enjoying his sense of humor. I always enjoyed catching up with him over the years and you and the girls were always the first topic he’d bring up. I know we will all miss him. I am glad that I was blessed to have him be a part of my life and memories.
In deepest sympathy
Dan
My wife and I were saddened to hear of Victor’s passing. We all attended Bethel High School together and took many classes with Victor. Victor was a good friend to me and he made it a point to stay in touch over the years. We talked by phone periodically and he visited with me every time his work brought him to New York City. While I never met his beautiful family, Victor always urged me to visit him in Oklahoma to meet them, and he never failed to send me a Christmas card with a picture of the family. Victor was proud of his family and regularly told me how much he enjoyed being a husband and father. Victor and I loved to reminisce, talk sports, business, family and everything else under the sun. While the connection between Victor and I that started in high school has come to an end, I will never forget my good buddy and the kindness he showed me over the years. I was blessed to have had Victor in my life. I will keep his family in my prayers.
Victor, you will truly be missed my friend.
Dearest tammy and girls. Words wont take away your pain but your faith in jesus will and your husband and dad will be in heaven waiting for you. I’m so sorry for your loss and understand this is hard. Our family loves you all so much and we are praying for your family. Pam Lovelady
Dear family of my old friend Victor,
Victor, together with Chris Corish and Steve Thomas, had a profound affect on my life. I lived with the three of them for four years as we attended UVA together. I was a first generation college attendee from a very rural background and I had NO idea how to approach college study or life. Victor helped me tremendously setting a great example for balancing serious study with embracing the social and personal growth opportunity UVA afforded which, to me, would have been overwhelming without my fantastic roommates.
Jeri, I remember visiting you with Victor on a fun spring break trip to Florida a hundred years ago. Tammy, we were so impressed with your personal depth, beauty and charm when we finally met you in C’ville (although we said, “well, of course, that’s Victor for you”) and it’s clear your beautiful daughters have the best of your union going for them. I am glad Victor got to see them grow to the adults they’ve become and I know his life is fulfilled by the family you raised together.
I wish Lori and I could be there for the memorial service. I am recovering from a difficult surgery otherwise we would be there. We will be thinking of you all now and in the years to come.
Now where are my fish sticks. (They were slightly better than ROTC’s chili.)

Uncle Victor was a man of excellent character and has always inspired me to work hard while treating others with the upmost respect and integrity. He was truly an inspiration in both his work and family life. We have lost a very prominent pillar of our family, but he will never ever be forgotten in both our thoughts and our hearts.
I love you Uncle Victor, I will miss you greatly.
