    To Valerie’s Family–With deepest sympathy
I taught with Valerie at the Eighth Grade Center (now Boulevard Academy) in Edmond. She graciously shared ideas and encouraged teachers new to the district. I truly appreciated her kind help.

Valerie is a precious memory for me from the days that my daughters’ Chelsea and Darci were at Haskell Elementary. I knew her as I volunteered and shared with her the love of teaching which I had also done for several years. She was such an encouragement to me as a young mother and as a Christian woman. We laughed a lot together and I was always amazed at her sweet spirit.

As you grieve the loss of Valerie to this life, please know she is remembered by people from years past and the great influence she was. May God bless all of you with His perfect peace and memories of her life well lived.

Mrs. England was my favorite teacher. I had her for 10th grade English at Central. The entire class absolutely adored her and today we have been reminiscing about all of the good times we had in her class. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts go out to her family.
