Pop’s had an incredible 53 years and 350 days of marriage devoted to his wife Gwen. He served in the Marine reserves for 6 years while attending Kansas state university. Pop’s retired from Martin Marietta after 30 years of service as an Aeronautical Engineer “rocket scientist” and started his second career as General Manager of Alva roofing for 17 years. Although he had two distinguished careers, his greatest accomplishment was his Christ like walk through life. Throughout his life, he was a shining beacon of love to all he encountered including animals. His tenderness is one of his greatest qualities. He always made time to be there to assist where needed. He was a servant to his family and to the numerous mission trips that he led to Mexico. He was the greatest Father, Grandfather, Great grandfather, and friend that you could ever hope for. During his life, he was a disciple for Jesus and brought many souls to Christ. The world is a better place because of Pop’s 77 years on it. He will be greatly missed.
