Talor Michelle Black

1989-2024

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.  Romans 8:18

Talor Michelle Black, a well-loved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and amazing mother, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Talor was the final blessing born to Michael and Paula Black on September 5, 1989.  She completed the family of eight as the baby sister.  She grew up in Edmond, OK, graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School and went on to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  Her greatest blessing was becoming a mom to her son Colten. He was the light of her life and her inspiration. Talor always enjoyed a good debate and found her calling pursuing a career in law.  She worked diligently to complete her Juris Doctor degree in 2019 from Oklahoma City School of Law. She was an inspiration to friends and family as she pursued her education while working and being an amazing mom to Colten.  She is so very loved.

Talor is preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin and Lois Black, Verge and Pauline Arnold, and bonus grandmother Reda Black; cousin Lance Black; and Aunt and Uncle Butch and Charlotte McCulloch.  Talor is survived by her son, Colten Howard; parents Michael and Paula Black; sisters Tiffany Greene and husband Jeff, Tabatha Black, Trisha Adair and husband John, Tammi Garrett and husband Kyle, and Tara Stine and husband Doug; nieces and nephews Greyson Greene and wife Kyleigh; Tristan Black-Hernandez, Garrett Greene and wife Mandolin, Matthew Adair and fiancé Maddie, London Black-Hernandez,  Gage Greene, Jack Adair, Presley Greene, Molly Adair, Addison Garrett, Ainsley Garrett, and Samuel Stine; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2:00pm at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly in Edmond, Oklahoma with committal at 3:30pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Ave, OKC, OK.
