Syble Juanita Winton
1929-2018
Syble Juanita Winton passed from this earth at the age of 92 on July 4th, 2018. She was born April 29, 1929, in Connerville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jesse and Mae Fairchild. She attended Pontotoc schools and was married to Bernard G. Winton on April 25, 1942 until his death in the year 2000. Syble worked as a homemaker, as a secretary and was a licensed beautician. Syble loved the Lord and taught ladies’ bible classes on multiple occasions. She knew her Bible. Syble loved Oklahoma Christian and was one of the first members of Stepping Stones, now the Oklahoma Christian Women’s Association.
Survivors include two sons, B. G. Winton and wife Pattie, Alma, Arkansas, and Thomas Winton and wife Jane, Luther, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 am, Monday July 9th, at Memorial Road Church of Christ, Edmond, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Oklahoma Christian Women’s Association, Oklahoma Christian University.
