Suzanne A. McGinley
1930-2017
Suzanne A. McGinley was born in Oklahoma City on February 23, 1930 to Samuel & Delores Allen. She passed away on December 29, 2017 in Edmond, OK. She attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
Suzanne married Vernon McGinley in 1950 and together they had three children, Barbara McGinley, Edmond, OK, Mary Anne & Kurt Spindle and Mike & Natalie McGinley both of Houston, Texas. She was a Lab Technician at Lab-Corp for 40 years. She enjoyed Art and Design and spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Grace and husband Vernon. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Brent Croom, Frisco, TX, Sean Croom, Yukon, OK, Kelly Croom, Moore, OK, Jacob McGinley, Houston, TX, and Megan McGinley, Houston, TX. Great Grandchildren, Will Croom, Frisco, TX, Jack Croom, Frisco, TX, Weston Croom, Yukon, OK and Finn Croom, Yukon, OK.
She will be remembered as a wonderful Spouse, Mother and Friend. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Suzanne.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, OK.
