Susan Farr Arnold

1959 – 2025
Susan Arnold was born January 9, 1959, in Oklahoma City to Robert and Nancy Hoffman. Susan, a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother lost her short battle with cancer on April 9, 2025, and went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Susan was preceded in death by her father Robert, mother Nancy, and son, Michael Drew. She is survived by her husband Mark, son Ryan (Lindsey), brothers Bobby, Steve, Chris, and Rick Hoffman, and three grandchildren Blakley, Beckett, and Briggs.
Susan graduated from John Marshall in 1977. In December 1977, Susan and Mark were married. Susan then started her long career in the banking industry, working her way up to Vice President. Work was not her only focus in life, she also had her hands full with 2 rambunctious sons that kept her busy with sports and a little good-natured mischief.
Susan always found time to make sure that you were taken care of. Whether it was a phone call to check on you or making you another plate at a holiday get together and loading you up with a to go box on your way out.
Susan’s greatest joy in life was spending quality time with Mark, summer nights on the back patio listening to music while watching the fireflies, beach trips to Mexico, or a weekend trip to Texas to visit the grandkids. Susan was always ready to go.
Susan’s smile and love will live in our hearts forever.
Services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Mark and family. LD and I are lifting you up in prayer. We worked with Susan at United Oklahoma Bank and then LD worked with her at QCB. She brought so much laughter and joy and truly a remarkable woman. May God bless you during this difficult time.
Mark and family, Susan was the treasurer of the HOA when I was an officer, too. She was a gem.
A big source of smiles has been lost on Earth. Any & every time I “worked” with her, whether in banking or personally, she was a delight & we had great fun. Remember her laugh in the quiet times. She was seriously one of my favorite people.
