We are so very sorry to hear of Stu’s passing. Ted worked for Stu many years ago and has held him in high esteem ever since. Stu introduced us and we have now been married over 50 years. Our sincere sympathy and prayers go out to Janice and the family. He was truly a fine man who will be greatly missed!

My husband and I only knew Stu for a short time through our ‘workouts’ at the gym. He was always so pleasant and friendly (along with Janice)…even when the workout has been taxing! It was a shock to hear of his passing. His friends at the gym will miss his smiling face!

We have known the Melcherts for many years and yes, Stu was a leader in the Liberal community. He will be missed by his many friends both in Liberal and Edmond. Our prayers are with Janice and their family.

I worked Sunday services at St Pauls Cathedral with Stuart. As a new verger, I don’t know what I would have done without him. He was always ready to help me get ready for the service. He was so nice and always ready to help. I shall miss him a lot, as will all of us at St Pauls. Rest in Peace dear friend. Sue Crumbo.

  5. I am very sorry for your loss of your dear Mr. Melchert. The God of heavens feels your pain (Ezekiel 18:32);  He wants you to find comfort and hope in His Word, the Bible, such as the resurrection at John 5:28-29; comfort at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4,; peaceful life forever at Psalms 37:11, 29; life without pain or sorrow at Revelation 21:3-5. Jesus taught us to pray for that wonderful future at Matthew 6:9-10.  The free website, JW.ORG, has more verses to comfort you and to help you nurture the hope for that bright future.  May the peace from Jehovah be with you (Philippians 4:6-7).  My sincere condolences to all of you.
