Sharron Gayle Behrens, 70, passed away at home on February 15, 2016. Sharron was born on January 5, 1946 in Atmore, Alabama. She moved to Houston, Texas at a very young age with her family. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1968. Shortly after, she attended the University of Houston and studied nursing. She spent most of her adult life working in the service department of Ford dealerships.
She was always the ‘mother hen’ at work. She would always bake birthday cakes for the people she worked with. She met the love of her life in 1987, Don Behrens. They married each other in April of 1996. She was the most amazing mother and loving grandmother. She was a true angel on Earth and will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her son Russell Latrell Boyd.
Sharron is survived by her husband Donald Lee Behrens; daughter Jennifer Christine Barnett; grandchildren, Kayla Gayle McFarland, Trevor Martin McFarland, Sarah Nichole Johnson, Chase Milos Barnett, Hali Nicole Russell; great grandchildren, Apollo Josiah McFarland and River JacobLee Meyer; and brother, Harold Wooley.
Graveside service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2 pm at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond, OK. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home.
