1959-2017
Sharlenne Scheuplein, 58, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away with her family by her side on October 4, 2017. Sharlenne was born February 15, 1959 in Oklahoma City to Vera Remy. She graduated with a degree in Nursing from Oklahoma State University in 1979. Shortly after, she met and married John Scheuplein on April 13, 1985. They are still happily married after thirty-two years. Sharlenne worked in every facet of nursing over the course of her thirty-eight year career, and continued to work up until her passing. Anyone who knew her knew that the most important thing in her life was her family. For Sharlenne her most important role in life was that of a mother. She had three wonderful children: Tiffany, Alexandra, and John. She took immense pride in helping each of them achieve their goals, believing that their accomplishments were her accomplishments. She played an essential role in Tiffany becoming a Doctor graduating from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Alexandra pursing a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and John pursing a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. She will forever be remembered for her spitfire personality, unending energy, and love of family and friends.

I had the privilege of working with Sharlene for many years at Saint Anthony. Sharlenes children were the love of her life. We often had conversations about retirement. My heart is saddened and heavy. God had greater plans. Sharlene you earned your wings fly high til heaven’s doors unlock. I’ll miss our long talks in the cafeteria. My condolences to the family. May GOD COMFORT and strength you. Sandra Smith
Sharleene, My friend always… You know when you meet someone and instantly know you will be friends for life no matter what.. We were friends for 33 years always keeping in touch even though our lifes drifted apart. We always managed to keep in touch. I will miss not be able to call her up and have a chat to catch up on everything. Love her forever and a day! Sandy
