Sandra Turrentine, 83, of Edmond, OK passed away May 31, 2024 embraced by her family and close friends. Sandra was born March 18, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Edgar and Marion Phillips. Sandra graduated from Woodrow Wilson School (Dallas) in 1959. Sandra graduated from North Texas State college and in 1963 Sandra married her High School sweetheart Joe (married for over 51 years). In 1974 Joe and Sandra, with their three boys moved from Dallas, TX to the great State of Oklahoma (Edmond). Shortly after Joe and Sandra built their dream home in Deer Creek (best move they ever made) where they raised their three sons. Sandra then went back to teaching in 1990 and taught 3rd and 4th graders at Clegern Elementary and Charles Haskell for more than twenty years. Always so happy and spreading cheer. Her bubbly personality was infectious-magnetizing. So MANY friends and unbreakable relationships. Sandra will be forever missed. Oh, My. Just saw this obit on FB today. Mrs. Turrentine was such a sunshine at Haskell! Plus, we so enjoyed chatting with her in Brent and Christi’s driveway in Brasswood when she came for a visit. Condolences to the family and all who loved her. She was a true blessing! 🧡
