Ruby Marie Watson (Ruby Marie/Buchanan-Watson) was born Jan 2 1926 in Edmond OK to Walter & Myrtle Buchanan of Edmond Oklahoma and passed from this life to be with our Lord and her husband on Jan. 24, 2015, Ruby graduated from Edmond High 
School on May 25, 1944. In addition to the noble task of wife, mother and grandmother, Ruby held several positions in life. She was a devoted wife to Bill Watson for 54 years as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a Realtor in Plano TX, was a published song writer and Poet. Ruby was a devoted wife and mother along with the cherished years spent with her grandchildren Ashley and Cody; Ruby spent many days with her beloved nieces/nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her talents and compassion are a testament to her true self: Faith, family and friends. Ruby deeply loved spending time with family and friends, along with end enjoying poetry, song writing, dancing and singing. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Myrtle Buchanan, Edmond, Fred Buckner, son, James Buchanan, Brother, Helen Chastain, Sister,Cora Bartley, Sister Ruby is survived by her son James P Watson and wife Debby of Edmond, Ashley Watson and Cody Watson of Edmond along with 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved each and everyone one of them dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mathews Funeral Home in Edmond OK at 2:00 pm on Jan 29, 2015
