  1. We are so sorry to learn of Roy’s passing. He was a great neighbor and friend. Was always good to help out a neighbor when you needed him. He would come and kill rattlesnakes for me, helped to rescue puppies that were abondoned. Just there to help anytime with anything. He will be missed, Praying for the family.

We’re very sorry to hear about Roy, please accept our condolences.

We always enjoyed talking with him on McKenzie Rd. Conversations ranged from politics, Blue Heelers, cats, snakes, road conditions, & projects.
We will miss his smile & wise advice.

Way back in the early 90s I worked roy and his son mike at browns mfg. In memorial this guy was a hard working man he sure could paint. He painted a boat for me and I’d been out to his house a few times for a walk about. Rest in peace the old fart. Mike cossey

  6. Just saw this. Roy worked with my Dad (Jim Willis) for years and was probably the best friend he ever had. I could sit and listen to the two of them talk for hours. I still quote Roy to my kids to this day. I used to love going out to see Roy and Sue and running through those woods. He was funny, wise, and had more life experience in his little pinky than most men will ever have.

When my Dad died and I sat at graveside accepting condolences, I was still in shock. I hardly remember any of the people who were there. Roy’s face and the hug he gave me is the only clear memory I have of that day.

I truly loved that man, and a little bit of his whit lives on in my home. Rest in peace.
