Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Mathew’s Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma with Mr. George Carlton officiating Pallbearers, Barry Elswick, Corey Elias, Jason Sparks, Jason Barnes,
Honorary: Matthew Sparks. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery, Nash Oklahoma. Ms. Elswick, 93 was born Sept. 03, 1920, in Nash Oklahoma to James C and Hattie Tripp Dunham. She graduated Nash High school in May 1938. She Married Delos Elswick Sept.14, 1940 in Nash Oklahoma. Ms. Elswick was a member of Portland Avenue Baptist Church for thirty plus years, and later became a member of Henderson Hill’s Baptist Church before moving to Tulsa. She is survived by one Son and Daughter-in law, James Delos & Bobbie Elswick of Houston, Texas.Grandchildren, Lauri & Glenn Leadley of Mesa, Arizona, Barry & Maria Elswick of San Diego, Calif.Amy& Brian Anderson of Rockford, Ill,Christie & Craig Smith of London, KY, Melanie & Corey Elias of Tulsa OK.Matthew & Carla Sparks of San Diego Calif.Jason & Dawn Sparks of Jacksonville, FloridaJulie & Jason Barnes of Tulsa OK,She has seventeen Great Grand Children and one Great Great Grandchild. Ms. Elswick was preceded in death by her husband, Delos, her two daughters, Julie Elswick & Susan Jane Elswick Sparks, Two brothers Cecil & Donis and two sisters Mildred & Margery.
