Ronald Leon Jones, 74 of Edmond, Oklahoma passed from this life to his eternal life with the Heavenly Father on September 8th 2016. He was born on January 13, 1942 in Oklahoma City to Roy Leon Jones and Georgeilein (Adams) Jones. He is survived by his wife Paula; son Darren Jones and wife Susan, son Brian Jones and wife Ann, daughter Lisa Smith and husband David all of Edmond; grandchildren Marci and Dan Salzman, Kelsi Jones, Ryan Jones, Jenni Jones, Alyse Jones, and Logan Smith; great grandchildren Mia and Thea Salzman; sister Deatron “Dee” Morgan of Oklahoma city, brother Patrick Worrilow and wife Bonnie of Blanchard, Oklahoma , sister-in-law Karen Worrilow of Mustang, Oklahoma, brother-in-law Dale Turner and Patty Hunter of Edmond, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Pete Worrilow. Ron married Paula Turner in 1963 and they were married for 53 years and had three wonderful children. He attended Central High School in Oklahoma City. After working for the State of Oklahoma as a printer for a number of years, Ron was a co-owner of the Oklahoma Outdoorsman Sportsman’s Store in Edmond, Ok and later worked as a sales manager for Neighbors Coffee. After retirement, Ron went to work for Oklahoma Blood Institute and he loved the fact that he was doing a much needed service to the community. He was a Christian man and was a long time member of the Church of Christ attending New Hope Church of Christ in Edmond. Ron enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and mostly spending time with his family. As in his life, he was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

Services will be held on Monday September 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Hope Church of Christ, 700 West 2nd Street, Edmond, Ok. 73003.
