Ron Allen Williams, Jr. was born on December 19,1959 in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away in Oklahoma City, on February 20, 2023.
Ron spent his formative years in Oak Park, and Detroit, Michigan, where he graduated from Ferndale High School. He then joined the United States Navy, where he took part in bringing home prisoners of war and received three commendations from senior officers.
Ron loved spending time with family and friends, especially his three youngest grandchildren. Cooking was a passion, and both family and friends loved his amazing grilled meats. He also enjoyed woodworking, and ocean fishing, while being quite proficient at both pool and darts.
Survivors include wife, Sheri Williams; stepdaughters, Patricia Spurr, and Jessica Hames; stepson, Jacob Mackey; daughters, Samantha Svacha, and Tabatha Lewis; brother, Michael Boyce; granddaughters, Isabel Svacha, Scarlett Hames, and EveyRose Spurr; and grandsons, Greyson Hames, Logan Mackey; and former wives, Susan Brenberger, and Michelle Williams.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, April 11, at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma. A military burial will be held on Thursday May 11, at 1:00 p.m. at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista, Arizona.
