Robert “Bob” Searles

1959 – 2024

Robert “Bob” Searles, age 64, departed this world peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Bob was born in Nashua, NH on October 24, 1959, to Joan and Raymond Searles. He graduated high school from Azusa High School in Azusa, CA. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army where he served for 23 years before getting Honorably discharged. After leaving the Army, Bob went on to obtain his Masters in Electrical Engineering. He then went to work for Boeing for 20 years.

Bob was married to Barbara Searles (Hartman) on September 12, 1980. During their marriage they had two beautiful daughters- Rachael and Nicole.

Bob was a very loving, caring, strong, compassionate and humble man.  He had a love for his family and did everything in his power to ensure they were happy; taken care of and knew they were loved greatly.

He was preceded in death by his Father- Raymond Searles and mother- Joan Searles (Baldwin)

Bob leaves behind his wife, Barbara Searles (Hartman), daughters Rachael and husband John Short and Nicole Searles and granddaughters Ashlynn and Taylor.

Although Bob will be greatly missed, we are comforted to know he is now at rest in our Heavenly Fathers home where he was greeted by loved ones who went  before him.

There will be a private family celebration of his life on Thursday February 29, 2024.

So sorry for your loss. Praying for you all during this most difficult time and in the years ahead trying to make a life without him. Draw comfort from your memories and knowing you will see him again some day. Thank God you know he was a Christian and living in Heaven. May God put His arms around you and give you all comfort and strength.
