In his later years he enjoyed playing golf with brother in-law Randy Coit, cousin David Shepherd and Lynn Shepherd. He loved spending time with his grandsons Wyatt and Gabriel; they were “Papa’s Boys” and the light of his life. Bob will be truly missed around here! If he came in grumpy all I had to do was ask to see the latest picture he had of his boys and his whole being changed! He’d come around the corner with his phone in hand and I knew I was going to see something cute going on with his boys!
We love you, Bob! We hold you in our prayers, Renee and family.

Sad to read of your families loss. Thoughts and prayers for all who knew Bob.

I went to school with James and new Bob when he was a butcher at Crest where my Mom worked as a meat wrapper.

James prayers and strength to you and your Mom.

Our prayers and love go out for the family. May there be great comfort in the knowledge that he is in the presence of our Savior Jesus and he will be there to welcome all of you when you arrive in heaven as well.

Bob was a good father and husband and out-of-this-world PaPa. We appreciated how much he loved his grandsons, and especially Wyatt. It was always, and still is with Renee, so appreciated Wyatt had the other grandparents to rely on and be loved so much by, especially his PaPa. This leaves a huge hole in the entire “extended” family. Prayers to and offers of whatever we can do to help, to Renee, Jennifer, Bryan, Gabe, Jared, Heather and Wyatt. He will be missed by many.

We began moving in next door in 2011. Bob was the first neighbor to come over and greet me. During the next few years there were many good things to happen. One day a construction truck backed into a big rock on our corner and pushed it partly in the street. Late in the afternoon I was out trying to move the rock back onto our lot, Bob turned the corner coming home from work, and saw what I was trying to do. He parked his truck and brought over two big crow bars and we both moved the rock away from the street. One summer I was ill in TX for four weeks and the grass was growing tall, Bob mowed the yard while I was gone. At various time Bob gave me info on how to repair something in the yard/house or where to buy supplies. We talked over the fence many times. He told me about history in the neighborhood, and related stories about his work which were interesting. I will miss the conversations with Bob and his offers to help. Although Renee has family in the area, I will be available to help in any way needed.
