Becky gave me a summer job during my college years when Roy, John, and Lisa were still quite young. She was extremely kind and patient with me. Becky had a big, loving, generous heart; always fun to be around. I have many fond memories of her and her family. Prayers for Jack and the family. Rest in peace Becky.
I also had the privelege of working with Rebecca for several years. She was a kind, patient and loving soul to so many around her. She was selfless, always thinking of others and had a beautiful smile that could light up other’s hearts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. As sad as it is to know she is gone from our daily lives, what a joyous and happy homecoming must be going on in Heaven. Prayers for Jack and the family.
Becky … heaven is rejoicing because you are there. I just can’t put into words all the blessings that you gave me. You laid hands on my daughter when she was fighting cancer and you taught me how to feed the homeless and hungry. We made many sandwiches in your kitchen. Probably best of all you brought your beautiful daughter, Dixie, into the world and she is so special to me in many ways. I know you will be missed by many. But life is just the blink of an eye when compared to eternity. I wish I could be there today but COVID keeps me in quarantine so I will keep you in my memory and look to see you soon. Love you, Janet
I remember many birthdays spent together. Most celebrated at Belle Isle Brewery. But I also remember the years with teenagers together in her big room. Music, fellowship and lots of laughter. She enjoyed time with her children and their friends.
She had the love of Jesus to welcome so many into her home. Definitely one of a kind. She will be missed.
Lisa, We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. Our prayers are being sent to you and your family. ???❤❤❤
I will never forget my precious friend Rebecca. Rebecca was definitely sent by God unto my life and she became my mentor, my friend. She helped me to grow in my faith, and walked me through a very difficult time in my young adult life. I met she and Jack back in the 80’s, when I was a waitress at the Village Inn Restaurant. She was one of the kindest, most caring and loving friend had ever known. I will never know how she put up with me, and my chaos. Well, I do know, it was the love of God that she allowed to flow through her to others. I’m so deeply saddened for Jack and her family. However, I do know she is now in the glorious presence of her Lord and savior, and I know in my heart she heard those words “ well done my faithful servant.” Until we meet again Rebecca.
