Ray Terry
November 6, 1937 – March 5, 2015
Charles Rayford Terry was born in Mayfield, Oklahoma on November 6, 1937 to Charley Weldon and Inora Terry (Ward).
At the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Navy serving during the Korean War. In 10/21/1963 Ray married Juanita Wythe (Pilgrim) for 19 years and they had one son Rayford Owen Terry. He married Marie Terry on 6/4/1981 and they were married 33 years.
Ray is survived by his wife Marie of Edmond, Ok; his son Rayford Owen Terry and wife Nicole of Edmond, Ok; daughter Judy Carol Moore of Moore, Ok; his daughter Linda Jo Simon and husband Dwayne of Little Axe, Ok; his daughter Anna Marie Philliber and husband Michael of Oklahoma City; and his son Terry Fitch and wife Wendy of Oklahoma City, Ok; plus thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Juanita, his father, mother, a sister, two brothers, a son-in-law and a daughter.
Charles Rayford Terry was baptized in June 2005 and is a member of Waterloo Road Baptist Church.
Services will be at Waterloo Road Baptist Church on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City.

Momma Faye and I both enjoyed talking with Ray. He had such a big, kind heart that always wanted to help others. If Ray said he’d help you with something, you could count on him to “…git ‘er dun…!”
I was blessed to watch Ray grow in his Christian life and blessed to call him my brother as well as my friend.
