Randall Leon Orr
1944 – 2023
Randall Leon Orr was born June 16, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Ok to Eva DeLois and Leon Orr. Randall (Pa) departed this world for a better one August 18, 2023. He was a resident of Oklahoma City his entire life. He attended US Grant High School and Southeast High school where he graduated.
As a young a man he attended Capital Hill Church of Christ, where he met the love of his life, Charlotte Sharp. Randall married Charlotte February 4, 1963, and they had four children. He spent his early career at Lee Way working the docks and retired from Fast Freight as a truck driver. Randall worshipped and fellowshipped at Southwest Church of Christ.
He never met a stranger. He loved sports, history, politics, reading, and writing. If there was one word to describe Randall, it would be “ornery”. He loved to tell jokes, play dominoes, give gifts, and OU football. He was a family man and loved with all his heart. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family.
Randall is proceeded in death by his parents, Leon & Eva DeLois Orr, his sister Marilyn Smith, and Son Keith Orr. Randall is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Orr, sister Sharon Scott, children Kelly & Jay, Kevin & Linda, Kristi & Clarence, as well as 9 grandkids and 18 great grandchildren.

GOD bless you Coach. Orr family… sorry I didn’t make the funeral, but I did watch it through the Livestream. He always gave me a chance, when I played basketball for him. He believed in me more than I believed in myself. But he always put me up there and said “swing away”. We ALL owe gratitude to people that believed in us….
