Phillip Bruce Tucker was born on November 5, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Kenneth J & Dorothy A Tucker.  He passed away and went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Phillip attended Midwest City High School, Oscar Rose Junior College and Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College. He served his country by entering the US Army and served two tours of duty earning Vietnam Campaign Ribbons and the Bronze Star. After his military service, he started at Tinker AFB and worked there 35 years.  He was responsible for programs such as the F108 & B2 Accessory Programs and C17 aircraft program.  He was very grateful and blessed to have this opportunity to serve his government. Phillip was united in marriage to Jackie Kay (Fowble) Jones on January 22, 1993.  His greatest achievement was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church Guthrie and loved to serve through mission trips and assisting with the sound on Sunday mornings as well as serve weekly at the Hands of Jesus Food Pantry.  He will be greatly missed but his family is rejoicing his new life in heaven with Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Tucker. He is survived by wife, Jackie of the home; two sons and one daughter, Joshua Tucker and wife Tara of Guthrie, OK and Patrick Tucker of Edmond, OK; and Tara Jones of Yukon, OK; mother, Dorothy Tucker of Midwest City, OK and two sisters, Nancy Tucker of Swansboro, NC and Sharon Champeau and husband David of Muskegon, MI and one grandson, Sullivan Henry Tucker.
