Phillip Arthur Hood
1946 – 2024
Phillip, age 77 was born on June 15, 1946 in Enid, 0klahoma, to Virgil Hood and Agnes (Kosmach) Hood. He passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 5, 2024.
Phillip graduated from Bishop McGuiness High School in 1964. Then spent 3 years in the Army as a Nuclear Medicine Technician. Phillip transitioned this career to working in various hospitals throughout Oklahoma.
He is survived by his children, Christopher (Christine) Hood, Rebecca (Michael) Suddock and Karen Hood; Grandchildren, Taylor Hood, Mena Sloneker, Sadie Shuler, Madison Suddock and CJ Hood; siblings Richard Hood, Mary Kay Hood-Stalder, Cecilia Williamson, Regina Hicks and Angela Hood.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Gregory Hood.
Public visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Wake service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
