I worked with Peter for 7 years at Vista Care hospice I was the nurse manager. He made me a better nurse. He was such a good teacher. I wouldn’t be the nurse I am today if I had not known this man. He was a great teacher and a friend. The world lost a wonderful human being God gained an angel. I knew him for 20 years and it’s so hard to believe he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
We were patients of Dr. Winn for years. He was so kind and caring and always went the extra mile concerning our health. He was amazing in that he actually cared enough to call me at home to check on a medical procedure I had. I’m thinking there are not that many doctors that do that nowadays. We send our sympathy and prayers for your family. We will keep him in our hearts forever.
Dr, Winn was my husband’s doctor for quite a few years and we are so very sorry to hear of his passing. He made two house calls to check on my husband after my husband became non-ambulatory. My husband once said that Dr. Winn was a friend as well as a doctor. He made this world a better place and he will not be forgotten. Our sympathy goes out to his family, friends, and co-workers. We are so sorry.
Peter was my mentor in the AMDA Core Curriculum. He did make this world a better place and he will not be forgotten. He was kind, compassionate, and passionate about his patients and students. He was also passionate about ethics and hospice. I learned so much from him. Wishing peace to his family as they go forward without him.
