Peggy Lou Roulston
1934-2021
Peggy Lou Roulston, age 86, passed away January 9, 2021. Peggy was born August 11, 1934 in Sasakwa, OK to Ollie and Franklin Frump. Peggy had four sisters and one brother, one sister is still living in New Mexico. Peggy graduated from Sasakwa HS. She married Hardy Roulston on April 5, 1957, in Davis, OK, and they lived in Midwest City and Edmond most of their lives. Hardy preceded Peggy to heaven in 2017. They were married for 60 years, had two children, Bryan and Pam, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Peggy worked at Tinker AFB for 24 years, retiring in 1990.
Peggy was very passionate about sports, supporting the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Thunder Basketball team with her husband. She moved in with her daughter in 2018 in Sapulpa and was an active member of Sapulpa Baptist Church in Sapulpa, OK.
Peggy is survived by son Bryan and daughter Pam. Bryan and his wife Jacqui live in Midwest City. They have four children (Peggy’s grandchildren): Jennifer and Cody Proctor of Midwest City, Lindsey Cox of Edmond, Zach and his wife Tabatha Roulston of Edmond, and Courtney Roulston of Midwest City. Peggy’s daughter Pam and her husband Bob Dale live in Sapulpa, and her children (Peggy’s grandchildren): Jeffrey of Crescent, Jillian and Chris Binkley of Guthrie. Peggy’s great grandchildren are Gabriel, Chloe, Grayson, Cameron, Cayedon, Silas, Xoe, and Stryder.
Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at Matthews Funeral Home at 601 S. Kelly, Edmond, OK 73003. the immediate family will have a Family First Viewing at 2 p.m., and the family and friends are invited to Public Visitation from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service for Peggy Roulston is 10:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at Matthews Funeral Home at 601 S. Kelly, Edmond, OK 73003. Johnny Jennings retired Associate Pastor at the Village Baptist Church in Oklahoma City will be delivering the eulogy at the service. The pallbearers are Peggy’s grandson Jeffrey Allen, great-grandchildren, Cayedon Norton, Cameron Norton, Gabriel Hill, granddaughters’ husbands Chris Binkley and Cody Proctor. The graveside service will be at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK at 11:30 a.m.

Peggy was a very lovely friend. She will be missed. I was in exercise class with her in Edmond! God be with her Family.

Peggy was such a dear person she was so sweet, witty, and a very intelligent lady! I enjoyed being in exercise class with her at the Edmond center. I loved Miss Peggy She will be missed by myself and many others. Prayers, thoughts and love to the family. God bless you all ✝️❣️
Pam and Bryan, I know you will miss your mom terribly. She is such a dear part of all my childhood memories of our big family. May God bless you and your families with comfort and peace.
