Patsy Jean Leshe

Patsy Jean (Satterwhite) Leshe, 86, of Sliver Elm Estates Edmond, went to be with her Savior on May 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Patsy was born May 9, 1935 in Longview, TX to Hulet Clifton Satterwhite and Alta Marie (Whinery) Satterwhite.

Pasty attended Pleasant Grove School through 8th grade and graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1953. Following her graduation June 26, 1953, she married the love of her life, Wayne Brooks Leshe and was blessed with 4 children.

Patsy was active in the Woosley Baptist Church, Point, TX for many years, she was active in Point Ladies Civic Club Program, and many other organizations prior to moving to Edmond, OK in 2018. Patsy was also a member of Coffee Club, Sunday Morning church services and Dominos Players Group at Silver Elms Estates, Edmond, OK. Patsy always maintained a great gratitude and a positive outlook on life. She was know for her legacy of kindness and generosity which will live on through the lives of her family and those who knew her.

Pasty is survived by her husband, Wayne of the home, sister Dovie and Fred Kaupke of Enid, OK; brother John and Nan Satterwhite of Point, TX and children Tanya and Jeff Cotton of Apopka, FL, Tacia Bethel of O’Fallon, IL; Tammy and John Curtis of Edmond, OK and Tracy Silva of Spring Grove, IL; her 8 Grandchildren- Courtney, Craig, Christopher, Lauren, Ashleigh, Tyler, Austin, and Logan; her 4 Great-Grandchildren- Haley, Lucas, Scotland and Scarlett; many nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patsy will be placed to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Wood County (outside of Winnsboro, TX) on Saturday 26th of June 2021 at 2pm. Wayne will be staying at the Best Western, Emory, TX 25th to 27th of June.
