Olive Fink

1941-2013

Fink, OliveOlive Feller Fink, 90, of Edmond, OK, and formerly of Findlay, OH; Centralia, MO; and West Chester, OH, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, November 1, 2013.

She was born June 12, 1923, in Findlay to Irvin A. and Evelyn (Lape) Feller. She married Miller H. Fink on December 24, 1941, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Penny Schneider of Edmond, OK, Candy (Craig) Osvog of Brookings, SD, and Cindy (Randy) Hume of Fayetteville, NC, as well as grandchildren Jeff Helmig (Edmond, OK); Rick Helmig (Trophy Club, TX); Christi Cecil (Cape Coral, FL); Carin Osvog (Bloomington, MN); Clark Osvog (Lacey, WA); Becky Hopson (Paige, TX) and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Alice Bowman of Findlay, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Miller James Fink; four sisters, Lanore Browne, Ladorna Swackhamer, Sarah Howard, Irene Hilty; and three brothers, Irvin Edward Feller, James Albert Feller and Ronald Eugene Feller.

She was a resident of Edmond for twenty-five years and worked at First Baptist Church and Henderson Hills Baptist Church preparing fellowship meals. She also began the worship banner ministry at Henderson Hills Baptist. She was a charter member and past president of a widow support group, Keep-in-Touch in Edmond.  She was a life-time member of Missouri PTA serving in state offices and had a keen interest and involvement in politics throughout her life.

No services are planned at this time. The family would like to thank the staff of Grace Living Center for the care they provided Olive in the last eight months.
