Nicole Christene Whitley

1987-2023

Nicole Whitley, beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend passed from this life on Sunday, December 17th after a brief and sudden illness. Nicole was born to Donald and Lana Haworth on May 27th, 1987 in Bakersfield, California. Nicole moved to Oklahoma with her parents in May of 1989 and would spend the rest of her life here as an Okie and proud Native American.

Nicole attended Wellston grade school and later graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and was beloved by all that knew her. Nicole attended classes at the University of Central Oklahoma with aspirations of becoming a nurse, but chose to delay this and become a homemaker whereby devoting her life to raising her children. Nicole loved life large and you could see this through her love of animals, especially horses. Nicole spent many hours taking care and riding her horse, Star. Nicole’s love was not limited to animals but could also be seen in all aspects of her life. From all her inspirational quotes and poems she shared, to the creation of her beautiful art she brought to life and shared with the world. Nicole also loved to take everyday worn out furniture or household objects and bring them back to life with her wonderful creativity. There seemed to be no limit to what she could do or make. Most of all Nicole loved being a mother and did so with every ounce of her heart, body and soul. Her faith in God was strong and it was evident God created Nicole with an extra helping of love and it overflowed from her entire being.

Nicole is preceded in death by her father, Donnie Haworth; grandparents, Don and Wynona Haworth; grandfather Carl Lancaster; husband Danny Whitley and aunt Lorna Taylor.

She is survived by her loving partner, Joshua Factory; daughter Olivia and sons, Bearette and Rowan; mother and step father, Lana and Kent Officer;

father-in-law, Larry Whitley and wife Kathy; mother-in-law, Giuseppina (Pina) Crescenzo; brother Brad Haworth and wife Jennifer; sister Crystal Haworth; step brother Troy Officer; step brother Lucas Officer and wife Hannah; brother-in-law Gino Whitley and grandmother Linda Lancaster. Nicole is also survived by many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, In-laws, Cousins and friends.

It was very apparent that Nicole loved her family, from visits with grandparents, long conversations with her mother and sister, to reaching out to her big brother for support or advice. Wherever Nicole was she was the light in the room and this light will be tremendously missed by all that knew and loved her. She will never be replaced, but will be kept in our hearts until we meet again!

    I miss her so much. I’m struggling so much. I’m just… not myself without her. I wish her life would have been much longer, and I could’ve felt her love one more time. I pray that I will see her again one day.

  4. Benjamin those are sweet words. Just know she is smiling down from Heaven. Her and your Pop Donnie. We all miss her. We love you so very much.
