Nancy Lee Williams
1938 – 2023
Nancy L Williams was born on June 23, 1938. She joined her Savior in Heaven on Dec 19, 2023. “Hey Shug”, with a hug and 3 pats on the back, was the way Nancy greeted most people. She was a magnet of attraction to other people, and she was always talking, smiling, and baking. She met Jerry Williams at the VFW in June 1961. He was working there, and mom was there with her boyfriend. Nancy’s boyfriend was intoxicated and was thrown out of the club by none other than Jerry. They married on Jan 23, 1962. They were married 61 years. Nancy lived a full life pouring into her family and other people’s lives. She was a speaker for Christian Women’s club, sold real estate, decorated cakes, made lots of costumes for her and Jerry, and a lot of other jobs through her life. Her favorite place to be was in the middle of her family, taking care of them. Nancy’s advice to her grandkids is “You need to smile a lot because frowning makes wrinkles.”
Nancy is survived by Jerry Williams, her husband, and her children Donna, Kathy, Jerry, and Terry. She has 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be Friday, December 22, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be in January 2024.
Nancy was one of my best friends for so many years.. I loved to be with her with the other girls in our little group.. She was always so gracious and loving.. I miss her so but I know she is having a wonderful time in Heaven. Love and Prayers to you and the family, Jerry
