Nancy was born October 21, 1935 in Columbia, South Carolina to Walter and Beulah Strother. She moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma with her family in the summer of 1947.

Nancy graduated from Weatherford High School in 1953, and then earned a Bachelor of Business Education in 1958 from Southwestern State College where her father was assigned as Dean of Pharmacy. Dear Bob: Please know that our hearts and thoughts are with you and your family during this time of mourning. It seems like just yesterday, when we moved to Edmond, and you were our real estate agent. During that time we met Nancy and you have remained friends with us ever since.

Such a wonderful friend. We worked together, laughed and cried together. I will miss her clever wit, her constant caring, and her wise perspective on life. Bob, Dennis, Susan and Brian, Maddie and Lucas–she so loves you. May your heart and mind be comforted with all your special memories.

Nancy was such a great friend to me over the years; I was truly blessed to know her. My love and prayers to Bob and Susan, and family. But what a glorious celebration in Heaven to receive Nancy into the arms of Jesus!

May all of the Gallop Family find peace and strength during this difficult time. It is never easy to lose a loved one to death. Please find comfort from the scripture at Isaiah 33:24 when shortly no one on the face of the earth will say “I am sick”. Jehovah God, the God of Comfort, assures us that Death will be done away with. We will be reunited with our loved ones who have died and they will be in perfect health. So dwell on your fond memories and draw strength from God’s Word.

    Have Hope
