Nancy E. White Wood Sloan left this world to go jitterbug with Jesus on December 22, 2015. Born and raised in Poteau, OK, attended Poteau High School where she was a member of The Caddy Club. I have fond memories of Nancy. We grew up in Poteau and went to Hower Grade School and then Poteau Junior High. My family moved to Fort Smith in 1948 when I was starting the 8th grade. I will always remember Nancy cute giggle and her fun side, but she had a serious side–especially when it came to politics!
I know she will be missed. Carolyn Nelson
