Nancy Davidson
1943-2018
Nancy Davidson, 75, of Edmond OK, passed from this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on December 31, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born November 17, 1943 in Memphis TN to Dr Orin L. Davidson Jr and Julia Davidson. She had two daughters of whom she was very proud.
Nancy had a contagious laugh. She loved to read and get swept away in a great story. She enjoyed decorating and had a particular flare for drawing the natural beauty of the outdoors into her home. Decorating for the seasons and holidays were very special to her. Her love language was gift giving. She always gave a gift even when there was no occassion.
She began a relationship with Jesus as a child and drew great comfort from His unconditional love through all of life’s challenges. In her later years, she spent much time in His word, using the YouVersion Bible App, through the reading plans found there. She sought His wisdom and direction. She knew she was His precious child-forgiven, blessed and set apart-not because of anything she’d done but because of whose she is. He was by her side and she knew He would never leave her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Orin Jr and Julia Davidson.
She is survived by her daughters, Whitney Myrick and her husband Brandon, Allyson Evans and her husband Matt-all of Edmond, OK.; and her grandchildren Matyson and Abby Evans and Dallas Myrick.
Nancy is also survived by her brother Orin L. Davidson III and his wife Mary of Memphis TN along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Nancy’s wishes were to have a small, informal family gathering to celebrate her life.
