Nancy “Anguamea” Garcia passed away on Feb. 13, 2014 at Integris Memorial Hospital in Edmond, OK. Ms. Garcia was born on Apr. 23, 1965. She was a homemaker & her greatest joy in life was taking care of her son, Brian. She loved being with her family, laughing & joking all the time. She greeted anyone that came her way with a smile on her face. Prior to coming to Oklahoma, she worked for AFH & also Transportation, taking patients to & from places. Survivors include her son, Brian Garcia of Ratliff City, OK; two daughters, Jamie Anguamea & Toni Salazar, both of Ratliff City, OK; two brothers, Johnny Garcia of Casa Grande, AZ & Carlos Garcia of Tucson, AZ; five sisters, Rosemary Garcia of Casa Grande, AZ, Christina Jones & Martha Garcia, both of Eloy, AZ, Susie Garcia of Florence, AZ and Sarah Nix of Fox, OK. Ms. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Anita Garcia; two brothers, Steven & Louis Garcia; and late husband, Edward Anguamea.
Oklahoma Services: A memorial service was held at 4 PM on March 3, 2014 at the Bethel Baptist Church (119 N. 4th & Franklin, Healdton, OK) with Brother Ollie Pierson officiating.
Arizona Services: A Rosary will be held at 10:30 AM with a Mass following at 11 AM on March 8, 2014 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Eloy, AZ with Father Alonzo Garcia officiating.
Selected services were under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
