Myron Ora Paddock “Pat”
Myron Ora Paddock, Pat to all who knew him, was a hard-working, loyal provider who loved to travel. He was born in Morrill, Nebraska on May 12, 1924 to Nial and Olive Able Paddock. He was a Major in the Air Force, retiring in 1962. He was a salesman at Sears for a short while. He owned Scott Paddock Hardware in Casady Square, in OKC for 10 years and then went into remodeling and painting for the next 30 years. He was the treasurer and board member at First Assembly of Gold, currently attending Spring Creek Assembly of God. His sister-in-law led him to Christ late in life, and he never wavered in his faith walk. He and his second wife loved to travel making two trips to Europe and visiting 48 of the 50 states in their RV. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, Enola Gillaspie-Rush, Maude Ella Hogan, and Earnesteen Hert; his first wife Betty Emogene Scott and their two sons, Billy Paul Paddock and Jimmy Scott Paddock; and his second wife Bette Jane Madole. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Donna Paddock, grandchildren, Benjy Paddock, Amy Lambert, Paul Paddock, Dean Paddock, Tori Paddock, Alex Parker, their spouses, and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Agape Road, Inc, (hospice house) 6601 NW 48th St, Bethany, Ok 73008 and the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Services will be held Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Spring Creek Assembly of God Church followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
So sorry. I’m Myron’s cousin, I grew up with Jim and Bill. I was overseas when we lost Emogene and now I’m sorry I’m not going make it to the funeral because our health and this crazy virus. Our thought and prayer are with all the family. Is there going to some sort of streaming or something?
