1936-2021

Mona “Moe” Hoehner passed away peacefully at home on June 13 in Edmond, OK. She was the wife of Vince “Windy” Hoehner, and together, they shared 63 years in marriage. Mona was born January 27, 1936, in Okmulgee, OK and was the daughter of Ralph and Carrie Earls McLarty. She graduated from Kingfisher High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College. Moe and Windy founded Hoehner Construction and were private home builders and landlords in Edmond, OK until her passing. She was a founding member of Saint James Catholic Church in Oklahoma City and a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. Mona loved being with her family, cooking, gardening and sewing. She was a friend to all and always had time to listen. Moe proudly wore her orange and black as a true Oklahoma State University Cowboys fan. She is survived by her children and spouses, Paula and George Drew Jr., Sue and Denney Crabaugh, Mack and Rie Hoehner; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings Charlene Lovett, Betty Joe Holleman and Pat McLarty.

Moe has reunited with her beloved Windy!

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 17 from 1-8pm with a wake service and rosary at 6:30pm at Matthews Funeral home: 601 S. Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003.

Funeral mass will be held Friday, June 18 at 11am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church: 900 S. Littler Ave, Edmond, OK 73034. The Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery: 1407 N. Boulevard, Edmond, OK 73034.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School, 2801 S. Shartel Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.
