Mollie Marie Wallace
1929 – 2019
Mollie Marie Wallace, went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2019, one week after her 90th birthday. Mollie, or “Merle” as she was affectionately called by her family, was a caring, giving person who was so loved by all who knew her.
Mollie was born to Frank and Gladys Godsy on April 7, 1929, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She graduated from Pryor High School in 1947. Mollie married the love of her life, William H. “Bill” Wallace, on March 5, 1949 at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage.
Mollie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She leaves as her legacy three loving children: Mark Wallace (Shannon), Greg Wallace (Carol) and Vickie Blodgett (Jeff); six grandchildren: Andy Hicks (Candice), Aimee Nail (Ronnie), Emily White (David); Ben Wallace (Allison), Corbin Wallace (Laine), and Natalie Wallace; and fourteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11am on April 18, 2019 at Resthaven Memory Gardens. The family requests that donations be made to Texas Children’s Hospital at http://waystogive.texaschildrens.org/molliewallace.
