I worked with Mike at the Zoo on the Cat Forrest back in the late 90’s. I worked for FlintCo and our work trailers were side by side. Those two years were more fun because of Mike as he made it very enjoyable to come to work each day. I actually was just looking him up today because I was thinking about how he was doing, and was shocked to see he had passed. I’ve wanted to call him for years just to see how he was, sorry I waited until today to do it. I ran into him about 7
years ago and he mentioned he had had heart problems, I’m just so sad.
My sympathies go out to his family which I didn’t know anyone except for meeting Mickey once years ago. I’m so very sorry and am sure he will be missed dearly.
I used to call him my little Heavener hick…I can just hear that Heavener accent right now.

    Sincerely,
    Kim Cress
