With our deepest sorrow, we share that Michael Steven Tindill passed away unexpectedly in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 26, 2020.

Mike was born on August 17, 1998 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mike attended Edmond Public Schools and Frances Tuttle Engineering. He played t-ball, baseball, soccer and football. He was attending Oklahoma City Community College and fulfilling his life’s dream to become a nurse.

  8. Cardinal Newman is the author of this prayer. It was given to me by a wonderful friend over 60 years ago. I send it to you with a feeling of sorrow but with hope in my heart that you will find peace in your heart.
“O Lord, support us all the day long of this troublous life until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in Thy mercy grant us a safe lodging and a holy rest, and peace at the last. AMEN. Linda Ahn

Tindill family – I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Michael. He was one of my favorite students at O Triple C. I worked with him on obtaining scholarships to pursue his dream of becoming a nurse. He scored high on scholarship applications and the reviewers loved his essays detailing his hopes and dreams! In fact, he was a Gamel Scholarship winner – one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarships awarded at the college. He was such a delight to see in the hallways and would drop by my office several times each semester to check on scholarships. I will miss him!

Dearest Laura and Brian and Nicole,

My heart aches for you. Ed and Sandy have told me and Larry of the tragic circumstance that has taken the life of your beloved son, Michael. The loss of a loved one is always sad, but in the case of such a young and promising person, it is doubly hard to bear. How can we possibly express the deep sorrow we feel for you and all of your family members. Words are so inadequate at a time like this, yet please know that our thoughts and many prayers are with you today and always.
    All our love and sympathy,

    Aunt Michelle and Larry, too….

My deepest condolences for your loss. Mike brightened the life of every person he came in contact with, whether it was for years or just for a minute. I was lucky to have been his Microbiology professor at OCCC before he started the nursing program. He was an amazing student who shared his caring nature and enthusiasm with everyone around him. I wrote him a scholarship recommendation letter when I had only known him a few weeks. But I felt like I had known him far longer, because he was so open and honest about everything. He will truly be missed.

  19. That was a beautiful memorial service. We are so deeply sorry for your family in the loss of Mike. He was so very sweet and smart. Lance always enjoyed going to Mike’s house to play and spend the night- he always came home and told us wonderful, exciting things they built and did while he was there, it was usually something very creative and fun that he ONLY got to do at Mike’s house. They played football together and we loved going to the games at Cheyenne and watching them play. We will continue to pray for your family. Thank you for sharing him with our family. Sincerely, Lance, Debbie and Frankie Cooter.

Michael was a friend of our son, Dylan. They went to Francis Tuttle and had fun making projects. When Micheal was in our home, he was such a sweet guy. A light left this world and a hole will be felt. We are so sorry for your loss and pray for your peace.

Brian, Laura and family; our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. It is tragic when parents have to bury one of their children and our hearts ache for you!! It is clear from other posts on this page that Michael (and both of you) were a positive force in the lives of many and that his memory will be one of joy and kindness from those who knew him. That is a wonderful legacy and certainly reflects the values which you instilled in him. His address has changed, but his impact on others will continue. Blessings. Sue and Steve

  23. Lorri Willams and Family

Michael was a sweet young guy who left too early. He will be missed.
