Maverick Wayne Reidel
July 4, 2001 – May 11, 2023
Maverick Wayne Reidel was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on July 4, 2001. He grew up and went to school in Jones, Oklahoma.
Maverick left this earth on May 11, 2023, at 21 years old. He struck a cow in the road while riding one of his many motorcycles on his way to help a friend.
He was taken far too young and left a hole in the hearts of so many people who loved him.
He will be missed always by his Dad (Brett), his Mom (Adena), his brother (Logan), his Granny (Ramona), his Grandparents (Linda and Rick), his Grandparents (Bob and Alura), his Mawmaw (Doris), his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, closest friends Bryce, Turner, Zac, Dustin, Donnie, Austin and so many more.
Those that knew Maverick were blessed to have known him. He made an impression on everyone he met. Maverick could make you laugh in times nobody else could. Maverick was wise beyond his years, had such a strong sense of himself and was grounded in a way many people twice his age never master. Many people have said Maverick changed lives with his love and friendship. He loved his family and friends fiercely and would help them in any way he could. He was talented in so many things it would be hard to list them all. His passions were family, friends, motorcycles, trucks, upholstery, woodworking, metal engraving, and cooking.
We know he is with his Grandpa, Great Grandpas, and Great Grandmas now.
A celebration of Mavericks life will be held June 4, 2023, at 3:00 PM at The Elks Lodge, 5925 E. Waterloo Rd., Edmond, OK 73034.
