Mary Patricia Boxell
1955-2024
Mary Patrica Boxell (Moran), 68, of Oklahoma City, died Sunday, April 7, 2024. Mary was born June 10, 1955, in Oklahoma City, where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of Thomas Michael and Mary Josephine Moran. Mary grew up and attended schools in Oklahoma City and graduated high school from NW Classen.
After graduation, she attended Oklahoma City University. Mary loved to travel and visited at least twenty countries. Her highlight of traveling was when she visited Bethlehem. She was a devoted catholic who attended multiple bible studies. Mary married Mike Boxell and became a homemaker.
Mary is survived by her husband, Mike Boxell, her son Jason Spiller, and two grandchildren, Savannah and A.J. Mary is also survived by three brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Jo Moran, and her sister Diane. Mary had a loving and gracious soul and was adored by all her nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2024 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel Edmond, OK officiated by Deacon Mickey Reeves. A rosary will take place before the memorial mass. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
