YUKON

Martha Nell left this earth for her heavenly home on June 30, 2017. She was born in Ponca City and grew up in Johnson City, TN. She moved to the Oklahoma City area where her twin boys were born and raised.

She had a big love for her family, her bunco group, and loved making Christmas and the holidays special. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.

Martha loved gardening and spending time outdoors by the pool/pond. She was an avid sports fan and loved OU football. She had a big heart for animals and adored her dogs.

She was proceeded in death by her brother, Charles Woodward; Mother, Virginia Woodward; and Aunt Glendine Mathis.

She is survived by her son, Blake Pankey, and his wife Amber; son, Chad Pankey; and grandchildren, Lauren, Caden, and twins, Cooper and Camden. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers of Martha during her long bout with ill health, especially Carol, who was by her side the last two months of her life.

Memorial service will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at Crossings Community Church in OKC.

I remember Martha Nell when I first entered St Genevieves in Asheville. She was one of the first to befriend me. Remember the years and and graduating in 1967. My heart breaks for her family. May each find peace in memories.
She looked the same…a lovely person.
