1964-2018
Margaret “Meg” Taylor, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2018 at the age of 53. Meg was born on December 24, 1964 in Newark, New Jersey. Meg was the most loving and giving person whose family was always put first while building a successful career and a large group of friends who loved her dearly.
After graduating from Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, Meg earned a degree in accounting from the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. While in college, she met John Taylor whom she married in 1988 and started their life’s journey together. She had a successful career with several different companies in the areas of finance, accounting, contracts, and program management while being a devoted wife and mother to her three children who she was so proud of. She loved sailing on the Chesapeake, lazy days on the beach, working out at the gym, and playing games with family and friends. Meg spent 17 years with her family in Severna Park, Maryland before moving to Edmond in 2010. Meg was full of life and brought a smile to everyone she met.
Meg was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and James Meehan, and her father-in-law Benjamin Taylor. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed by her husband of nearly 30 years, John B. I am truly sorry to learn of your great loss. I am certain you agree death is an enemy of man. It is most comforting to know the Holy Scriptures contain a promise from God that death will soon be done away with (Rev. 21:3,4). HE also promises: “Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up.” (Daniel 12:2) May meditating on these promises from God bring you comfort.
