Crawford, Margaret main picMargaret Jean Crawford, 86, passed away in Edmond Oklahoma, on September 11, 2013. Margaret was born October 19, 1926 in Pitcher, Oklahoma. Her parents were Thomas Hugh and Eva Arnold. She graduated from Picher High School. She attended and graduated Business School in Miami, Oklahoma. She met the love of her life Harold B. Crawford December 24, 1945 after his return from the war. They married August 10, 1946, and they were happy for 39 years, until Harold’s passing. They had three children Cheryl Crawford Conly, Pam Crawford, and Robyn Crawford Shandy. Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and loved her family dearly.

After graduating from Business School, Margaret worked as a legal assistant for 25 years. She was a faithful servant of God throughout her life through the music ministry. Margaret played the piano and organ for her home church for over 50 years. She was loved and respected by friends and family.

Survived by daughter Cheryl Conly and husband Len of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; daughter Pam Crawford of Edmond Oklahoma; and daughter Robyn Shandy and husband Don of Norman, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Kelli Shockley, Marissa Stuckey, Matthew Shandy, Mallory Shandy, and Madeline Shandy. In addition, Margaret had four great grandchildren Blake Shockley, Kayla Shockley, Colton Stuckey, and Corbin Stuckey. Her husband Harold B. Crawford preceded her in death.

Based on her wishes we are going to have graveside services on Saturday, September 14th at 2:00 pm at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.  Viewing will be after 10:00 am Friday, September 13th.
